Macey needs an operation

Lovely Macey who was abandoned by her owner came to me as she was going to be put to sleep. Being a fairly healthy cat with no reason to die, I had her transported to me from Sheffield to Nottingham and placed her with a fosterer.

Since then she’s been checked over by vet and they’ve noted that she is in desperate need of tooth extractions and her gums are in a pretty bad state. This will be causing her pain, so I will be booking her into have her operation very soon, but I’m in desperate need of funds for this operation which could be in the region of £300

If anyone can help the rescue by donating money towards Macey’s op it would help me to continue my rescue work as obviously no funds means no more cats into the rescue!

4 kittens taped in a box and abandoned

Just had a call this morning from another rescue who are full so they rang us to see if we could take 4 kittens that had been taped up in a box and left on someones garden.

The kittens are beautiful – 3 girls and a boy.

Two loving and cuddly black kittens, both boys the smaller of the two has a white tip to its tail an a tuft of white on its chest, they love to play! Both love a good snuggle on the sofa at night and have a little kitten milk in the morning.

Lucy is 9 months old, found with her mum in Retford as a stray. She is a quiet and gentle little girl who has come out of her shell in her new foster home and already made herself at home! She’s not used to young children but is very good around other cats. Lucy is Spayed. Adoption fee of £50 and homecheck apply.

Bella- 18 months old – child friendly

Bella is 18 months old, a stray found in Retford and taken care of by the finder whilst they found rescue space. Bella is a loving girl, very energetic and very good around young children. She loves her walks on a harness! She thinks she’s a dog!! This cat will roll over and love her tummy being rubbed too, so definitely a dog in a previous life!!

Bella would suit a home where she can go out into a back garden as she’s loves the outdoors. Located in foster in NG5 Adoption fee £50 and Homecheck apply.

Meet Macey! She”s a 10 year old girl who was taken to the vets by her owner and told them to put her to sleep. They refused and he walked out and left her there, refusing to answer calls or the door about her. She”s a beautiful girl, really loving and friendly. Now ready and waiting to find her a loving home with someone who will love and take care of her in her twilight years.

Based in NG3 with a fosterer.

Macey is Spayed & will be microchipped.

Sunny & Napoleon

Sunny is a tortie girl with an amputated tail from a car accident years ago. It doesn”t bother her though! Napoleon is Sunny”s brother, they are both 6 years old and they are such loving cats! They like nothing more than to hop on your lap for cuddles and love!! Sadly their owner cannot keep them because of where she”s had to move to don”t allow pets so she”s asked me to help her.
These cats do like to go outside for a wander in the back garden so only homes with gardens please. Sunny isn”t keen on young children as they scare her a little but children over 5 years old are fine.

Neutered/vaccinated/microchipped.

Looking a tad ‘sorry for himself’ when he first arrived as a stray

Little White found himself at the right door on Good Friday this year. He was dirty, thin & jaundiced! He was rushed to the vets and tested for all sorts of diseases and illnesses but the vets couldn’t find anything wrong, apart from her was severely constipated! An X-Ray confirmed this. They gave him some laxatives and medicine and Little White got better over the next few weeks, living in the finders house whilst they advertised him as “found” but without luck. No one claimed him. It would appear he was a stray for a while from the look of him, so they asked me to help find him a permanent home. Little White is a loving boy who just needs a home of his own! He is neutered, vaccinated and microchipped. Adoption fee and homecheck will apply.

Adopt Millie

Millie is a lovely tortie-girl, who is around 2 years old. She is used to living indoors so far but her owner had to give her up since being unable to take her to a new accommodation which doesn’t allow pets.

Millie is quite stressed and nervous of people at the moment, but she is showing signs of coming round after only a week, so she may improve further very soon. At this moment she will only be re-homed to quiet homes without young children.
