Lucy is 9 months old, found with her mum in Retford as a stray. She is a quiet and gentle little girl who has come out of her shell in her new foster home and already made herself at home! She’s not used to young children but is very good around other cats. Lucy is Spayed. Adoption fee of £50 and homecheck apply.
I am logging their weights on a spreadsheet! A little obsessive some would say haha! The weights are in grams, measured on electric kitchen scales. The kitten called Billy is only so I know which boy… he looks like a cat I used to have! By the 4th April when I began weighing, the kittens were already 5 days old.
and an update – at 2 weeks old.
Here they are, 10 days old! Putting on weight daily and growing so quickly.
The kittens are getting bigger by the day! Tummies are rounder, they’re sleeping lots and cuddling together when not feeding. The other 2 umbilical cords dropped off today and I changed their bedding again for a fluffy old dressing gown that’s always been a favourite with cats! Rosie’s diarrhea has got a lot better now thankfully and no more bleeding. She’s coming downstairs a bit more and so must feel more comfortable leaving the kittens for short periods… she’s knows there is food downstairs that’s why she goes to the kitchen despite me feeding her constantly in her room!!
